Longgong Scenic Area

Longgong Scenic Area, also known as Dragon Place, has an area of 60 square kilometers, and is 116 kilometers from Guizhou’s capital, Guiyang. The scenic area also lies just 27 kilometers away from Guizhou’s key tourist city, Anshun, and benefits from a convenient transportation network, with freeways going straight to the area.
One of the key features in the area, Longgong Cave, houses an underground karst landscape museum. It is comprised of a series of underground caverns, which form a vast network through 20 hills.
Longgong Scenic Area formally opened to the public in 1984 and was rated as a national key scenic spot in 1984 before becoming a national AAAA scenic spot in 2000 and a national AAAAA scenic spot in 2007, as awarded by the National Tourism Administration and State Bureau of Technical Supervision.
