Freeway pile-up involves 33 vehicles

Rescuers try to pull an injured driver onto a stretcher at the site of a pile-up involving 33 vehicles on the Hangzhou-Jinhua Express Way in Zhuji, East China's Zhejiang Province December 4, 2007. The accident, which killed one person and left seven others injured, was caused by a thick fog. The collision halted traffic for about three hours, stranding more than 1,000 vehicles on the freeway.[Xinhua]
