A US magazine has rated the Chinese city of Hangzhou as one of the best places for Americans to retire and live comfortably on Social Security income of $1,200 per month or less. US News & World Report also highlighted four other retirement destinations, all in Latin America: Boquete, Panama; Granada, Nicaragua; Morelia, Mexico; and Cuenca, Ecuador.
