The International Trade Fair for Power Transmission and Control (PTC) is now bigger than ever before with 1,300 registered exhibitors.

Nearly 69,000 square meters have been reserved for participants to present products and technologies, a 10 percent increase in display space over last year.

Fluid power, mechanical drive, compressed air, spare parts and equipment exhibitors booked over 90 percent of the fair's booths by June.

The sealing sector of fluid transmission has attracted a large number of top international exhibitors such as NOK, SKF, Trelleborg, Seal Maker, Kastas, Aston, and Fenner.

The compressed air and gear sectors will boast many leading domestic brands, including Atlas Copco, Sotras, Desran, Naili Nordisk, Nissei, Quan Shi, Sino Deutch and Moventas.

German bearing specialist, Schaeffler Group, has booked a 100 square meter booth.

The coming show will feature pavilions from Germany, Italy, Britain and South Korea. An international pavilion will host exhibitors from the United States, Spain, France, India, the Chinese mainland and Taiwan province.

"PTC Asia serves as a communication platform that connects the power transmission markets in both China and the rest of the world," said organizers.

A group of PTC system solution and service providers will also attend the show. Balluff, Hardinge and Sunnen have reserved large stands in every exhibition hall.

Officials said they hoped the solution and service providers would help optimize allocation of internal and external industrial resources by understanding exhibitors' individual needs.

Hangzhou Donghua Group, recent purchaser of German chain KBO, has participated in PTC Asia since 1991.

The Donghua Chain Group hopes to impress visitors with its 108- square-meter show stand, as well as its latest products and technologies.

The trade fair will take place October 25 to 28 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
