On Oct 26, an agreement was signed that will move the Czech Pavilion and Slovakia Pavilion from the site of the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai to Bohai New Area in southeastern Hebei province.

The two pavilions will be moved to the Sino-Czech Friendship Farm in Bohai New Area, which was a gift from the government of the Czech Republic government to commemorate the bilateral friendship.

Many exhibits, including more than 60 thousand ice hockey pucks on the pavilion’s façade, will be restored.

The relocated pavilions are expected to open to the public during the next Golden Week on Oct 1 to Oct 7, 2011.
