Hebei College Student Culture & Art Competition jointly organized by Hebei Federation for Corporate Social Responsibility and hbcenn.com was initiated on September 20.

The theme of the activity is “Show the brilliance of youths and the excellence of students”. Students have been asked to create works that generate positive feelings that centers on learning and life at college. Contestants must be junior college students, college students and or postgraduates in Hebei Province.

To enter, contestants can submit original work in the form of a composition (under 10,000 words) or a poem (classical or modern).

2. Art category: animation (within 10 min), cartoon, photography, calligraphy (brush and pen) or official script, regular script, running script, seal character, cursive script (40×69cm or 35×138cm) or painting.

3. Performance category: Dance (folk dance, ballet, modern dance, ballroom dance, hip-hop, Latin dance, contemporary dance, abstractionist dance, or dance combination, within 5min), film and television performance (imitation, short sketches, cross talks, martial art, acrobatics or magic, within 5min), recitation (within 5min), or traditional (Chinese) opera (Beijing Opera, local operas, accompanied with musical instruments, within 5min)

4. Music category: Vocal music (child’s voice, popular, folk, bel canto, vocal group or original songs, selecting one song by the contestant him/herself, within 5min), musical instruments (Western musical instruments, national musical instruments, or combination of musical instruments, within 5min). Each of the above works may be attached with a note or description of no more than 100 words. In order to advocate for a environmentally friendly and low-carbon life, all works submitted for the competition shall be in electronic manuscript, picture, image or video form.
