Traffic between Zhangjiakou in Hebei province and Beijing, on the Beijing-Tibet expressway, has returned to normal after almost one month of congestion, Beijing Youth Daily reported Tuesday.

The section was jammed for almost one month as a result of tighter inspections on overloaded trucks and construction works in Beijing.

Traffic authorities in Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia handled the issue by sharing information and deploying more officers, the newspaper said.
