Caofeidian Forest Park

Having passed the landscape acceptance examination by related authorities, Hebei Caofeidian Forest Park has officially opened to the public.

Under the management of the Planning and Construction Bureau of Tanghai county and located in the north downtown Tanghai, the park lies between the intersection of Caogong Road, Tanghai Line and the East Ring Road. The grounds cover a total area of 2,400 hectares, and construction costs reached 150 million yuan. Designed by the Taida Garden Planning Institution in Tianjin, Caofeidian Forest Park is divided into five functional areas, each with its own theme: leisure, lakes, sports, forests and ecological energy-saving. With many different garden styles in north China, creators intend to present the park as a multifunctional ecological green land by combining different functions including fitness, sightseeing, entertainment and picnics.

Caofeidian Forest Park raises green area in downtown Tanghai to 35 square meters per capita, which is among the highest levels in the country.
