According to the Hebei Tourism Administration, the China National Tourism Administration recently authorized the newly-rated nine national 5A-class tourist attractions and one 5A-class tourist attraction in Beijing. Xibaipo Scenic Spot was ranked among the national 5A-class tourist attractions.

Xibaipo Scenic Spot has thus become the fifth 5A-class tourist attraction in Hebei province following Chengde Imperial Summer Resort and its surrounding temple areas, Qinhuangdao Shanhai Pass Scenic Spot, new Baiyang Lake Scenic Area and Laishui Yesanpo Scenic Spot. It is reported that a total of 119 places are rated as 5A-class tourist attractions nationwide. 5A, the highest grade that can be awarded to China’s scenic spots, represents the best tourism and value-for-price travel destination.
