Scenic areas in North China’s Hebei province will offer discount to tourists in celebration of the coming New Year Day and Spring Festival holiday which occurs on January 22 and lasts until the 28, 2012.
From Dec 10, 2011 to Feb 29, 2012 tourists can enjoy various discounts when travelling the 200 scenic areas in the province.
Nearly 100 scenic areas will offer a discount of 50 percent or more and tickets are free to almost 40 tourist attractions. Three World Cultural Heritage sites and 60 percent of 4-A class and 5-A class tourist attractions are involved in the discount activity. Some resorts and hotels are also providing a preferential price to tourists.
Hebei province is rich in cultural and scenic tourism, ranging from royal gardens such as the well-known Chengde Summer Resort to folk activities including Wuqiao acrobatics and Yongnian Tai Chi Quan.
Skiing at a ski resort, enjoying hot springs or an ecological tour within Shijiazhuang, Langfang and Baoding cities are all available on these winter days.
