Longmen initiates WeChat payment for everything

Longmen Grottoes on Tuesday announced on its official WeChat account that henceforth WeChat payment will be available for all services in the scenic area. It is the first smart tourism area, nationwide, to have achieved this benchmark.

According to the scenic area in Luoyang, Henan province, its “Internet Plus Longmen” program launched in mid-July has been further upgraded. A complete on-line Longmen Grottoes tourism industrial chain has taken shape, with every bit of the tourism services provided in the area can be paid by WeChat. It is expected to bring great convenience for visitors as a smartphone will be all that one would need to tour around in Longmen.
