The city of Nanyang, Henan province signed a tourism cooperation agreement with Jinzhai county, in Anhui province for Red culture, self-driving, countryside and ecological tourism, on June 5, according to a recent Dahe.cn report.
The agreement was signed at a Jinzhai tourism promotion fair in Nanyang that offered typical Jinzhai folk performances, such as Fragrant Blossoms in August, Azaleas, Cattle Drive, and Farewell, Dabie Mountain to acquaint people with its culture and landscape in western Anhui and its Dabie Mountain.
It is renowned for its longevity and for being a base of the Red Army and a National ecological demonstration zone, so it has many Red culture scenic spots, such as Red Army Square. And it has Tiantangzhai, a 5A scenic spot that has been called East China's "last primal forest" and a forest coverage rate of 74.6 percent, making it "a natural oxygen bar".
The Henan-Anhui agreement calls for cooperation in tourism planning, marketing, information and standardization through efficient methods that combine information, management and services. The tourism fair also helped increase mutual understanding and communications between the county and Nanyang.
