A site of government in ancient China, Neixiang Yamen, which is near the city of Nanyang, Henan province, has its eye on smart travel to promote its cultural heritage and tourism at the same time and already spent 1.3 million yuan ($209,000) in 2011, on system that can detect the presence of a break-in ,a fire or other emergency.
The ancient government office has more than 60 exhibits on a 6,000-square-meter space, using advanced technology to show its cultural heritage in a way that attracts more visitors to Yamen culture with just a click on the digital screens.

Its official website has also improved to provide helpful instructions in English, Korean and Japanese, and online services such as ticket booking, and China’s first 4D cinema, with an "official morality" theme has been set up at a cost of 1.6 million yuan.
