Fangcheng county, near the city of Nanyang in Henan province, which is known as China's pawpaw town, is taking advantage of its miles and miles of pawpaw trees to develop rural tourism by getting people to visit and pick fruits, take photos, and enjoy an autumn trip.
To push this effort along, the county has established eco-parks and sightseeing spots centered on its pawpaw trees and has organized a flower festival in spring and fruit festival in autumn to promote its local brands at the same time.
Fangcheng also is home to the Henan Jinmugua Industry Co whose top products, such as pawpaw wine and drinks, are sold all over China.
