Leather e-commerce center opens in Central China

At an opening ceremony for the Haining Leather E-commerce Transaction Center, in Nanyang Wolong Clothing City, in the city of Nanyang, Henan province, on Oct 17, Wang Shuli, the chairman of Clothing City, said that they are key investment invitation projects of the Nanyang government and the Wolong district government.

Wang said the City, which has a building area of 420,000 square meters, has attracted 1.2 billion yuan ($188.5 million) in investment and that support facilities are in place. Its site near the Nanyang Wolong Comprehensive Bonded Zone will provide a good foundation for the Haining Leather E-commerce Center to become a national first-class leather trading center.

Zhu Qingshan, the deputy director general of Nanyang's commerce bureau, said that Nanyang's e-commerce is in the initial stage and has relatively little competitiveness. However, the Haining Leather E-commerce Center can inject some vitality to Nanyang's e-commerce and help the economy prosper.
