2,000 find employment at Nanyang's job fair

Half of the 4,000 people that attended the "Employment Assistance" Large-scale Job Fair in Nanyang, Henan province on Feb 27 and 28, walked away with a job.

More than 6,000 job positions were on offer by 206 enterprises, attracting around 4,000 job seekers, about 2,000 of which got a job at the fair.

The fair showed that some industries had a large demand for employees, such as real estate, marketing, finance and insurance, medical treatment and pharmacy, educational training and household management service.

The human resources and social security bureau reminded job seekers not to miss opportunities when they see them, as the post-holiday period is a peak time for employment.
