Nanyang tourism projects selected among national best

Two of Nanyang's tourism projects in Henan province have appeared on the National Tourism Administration's 2016 list of national preferred tourism projects, according to the city's tourism bureau, on June 22.

The two are infrastructure and construction projects, one in Tongbai county's Maple Leaf Area and the other in Xixia county's Laojun Cave Tourist Resort.

A total of 747 projects appeared on the list, 30 of which from Henan province, which were selected by tourism experts, as well as 10 national investment banks.

The chosen projects will play an important role in attracting investment, upgrading industry and alleviating poverty with prior support from national tourism development fund, subsidized loan, tourism departments and financial institutions.
