Nanyang's Xinye county branch of the Agricultural Bank of China and the county's People's Hospital have reached an agreement which will open up healthcare cash flow so that more money can be invested in treatment.
The bank has issued 26 million yuan ($3.9 million) in loans to the hospital so that it is able to remain at the forefront of healthcare provision in the county and purchase the latest in treatments and pharmaceutical medicine.
As China has an aging population a greater burden has been placed on its healthcare system, therefore it is vitally important that hospitals have the funds with which to provide the best quality medical treatment possible.
