A matchmaking symposium to promote cooperation between the Nanyang municipal government and Beijing Originwater Technology Co Ltd (BOW) was held on July 12.
BOW is a domestic pioneer in membrane material R&D, manufacturing and application and is dedicated to resolving three main water issues – water pollution, water shortage, and water safety.
With a total investment of 9.5 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), the two sides will launch a membrane R&D and manufacturing base and an ecological restoration project.
Zheng Maojie, deputy mayor of Nanyang, attended the symposium and extended his hopes that the construction of the base will be accelerated, pushing forward the marketization of the Nanyang Sewage Treatment Center and the protection of ecological environment.
