A delegation from University Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) lead by Mohamed Hisham bin Abdul Ghani, the vice president of the university,paid a visit to Henan University of Urban Construction (HUUC) in Pingdingshan on July 19-21. The two sides had discussions on the Pre China programme.
Both parties signed a contract that will enable UniKL to recruit a group of students to undertake preparatory courses for one year or one and a half years prior to their admission to HUUC. The students will then be enrolled at HUUC for four years and will receive a bachelor degree upon completion of the course.
The students can apply for six majors in HUUC, including Civil, Thermal Energy and Power, Architectural and Equipment, Water Supply and Sewage, Environmental and, Urban Underground Engineering.
University Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), based in the heart of Malaysia’s capital and commerce area, is one of the country's leading technical university. The university aims to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to contribute towards and play major roles in a global and knowledge-based economy. HUUC covers an area of 106.7 hectares with building areas of more than 580,000 square meters. Teaching and research equipment is worth 100 million yuan(RBM). There are more than 110 million copies of literature in the library, 16 Chinese and foreign literature databases, sports grounds and students' activities center. HUUC offers 41 bachelor degree programmes,and 10 diplomas. Currently there are more than 16,000 full-time students in our university.
