On the evening of Oct 21, Ruzhou Theatre held the "Folk Orchestral Concert".

Conductor Zhang Yao, a young permanent conductor of the orchestra and 120 musicians attended the performance. The concert started with a folk orchestral choir Dragon Dance. The brilliant performance won a warm applause.

After that, patriotic songs and music were presented one after another. Singers Chen Jing, Li Yimin, Xue Qing and Wang Yuanyuan, Cao Xi and Jiao Yang sang several classic patriotic songs, receiving long-lasting applause from the audience. The show was inspiring and encouraging. It also demonstrated the masterpieces of folk music and the charm of patriotic songs and music.

It is the first time for a folk orchestral concert was performed in Ruzhou.
