The symposium of general planning for the Jiufeng Mountains scenic area of Henan province was held at the Ruzhou Jinding Business Hotel on Dec 30, 2011.

On the border of southwest Ruzhou and northwest Lushan county, the Jiufeng Mountains scenic area boasts fine primitive ecological protection and rich historical and cultural heritage. Invested in by Henan Wanji Properties Co. Ltd. and designed and planned by Henan Provincial Forestry Investigation and Planning Institution, the Jiufeng Mountains will be built into the first 5A scenic area in Ruzhou city with an expected investment of 2 billion yuan.

The report about the initial designs of the general planning program was given in the conference and the participants discussed the program and put forward modification proposals.
