As the cultivation of Ruzhou edible mushrooms has developed strongly, more and more local people are benefiting from the crop as a source of income.

Zhuzhai, a small village in Ruzhou, has become an edible mushroom base. The mushroom base now occupies an area of 150mu (10 hectares), with 460 greenhouses. More than 38 families in Zhuzhai have joined the base. Other families from Linru town, Miaoxia town, Yanglou town also joined the base. The total number of base people has reached 360.
