The Ruzhou Disabled Persons' Federation has conducted four rural practical technological training courses for the disabled in townships and villages since July. More than 400 disabled persons and their relatives attended the courses.
Technicians gave detailed introductions to disabled persons and their relatives on scientific farming, cultivation and household appliance maintenance. They also answered questions regarding technology and provided living allowances to trainees.
The disabled persons responded enthusiastically to the courses. They all said that the home training courses gave them access to helpful scientific technology.
According to Cui Jianping, president of the Ruzhou Disabled Persons’ Federation, the federation will continue to make great efforts in rural areas and expand the training program. They hope to help more disabled persons receive home training and become financially independent.
