About 123 schools in Henan province have been granted qualifications for higher education enrollment, according to a recent list of 2,482 schools released by the Ministry of Education.

Of the 123 schools, 42 are undergraduate colleges, 69 are higher vocational schools, eight are independent institutes and four are branches of colleges.

Military academies and colleges in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are not included in the list. For schools that are not qualified and still enroll students, the diplomas they give out won’t be recognized by the nation.
