Ruzhou recently launched a fitness test program, to better understand the general level of fitness of residents and also help strengthen their awareness of the importance of regular exercise.
The team carrying out the testing is composed of staff from the city's Education and Sports Bureau, and they first tested 360 children at the city's Tianying Kindergarten.
Ruzhou plans to test the fitness levels of 928 people this year, and has determined three age groups: children (aged 3-6), adults (aged 20-59) and seniors (aged 60-69), with different tests for each group.
The testing is expected to continue until August, and the team will then set up files for each resident, to help them improve their health.
