The leaders of Ruzhou city, Henan province, visited the municipal environmental protection bureau on August 16.

They asked for information on the bureau's departments and extended greetings to the staff at work.

Li Quansheng, Party chief of Ruzhou, gave credit for the bureau's annual work report. He hoped that several relationships regarding work can be well handled, including the relationships between development and supervision, total and stock, service and enforcement, economic benefit and social benefit. Environmental supervision should help the city's sustainable development.

To create a good environment for development, the bureau was encouraged to combine the functions of service and enforcement.

Neither economic benefit nor social benefit is dispensable, with both of them achieving sound development. The environmental protection bureau should promote the city's economic development by providing service in environmental protection, he said.
