A delegation from Henan Provincial Food and Drug Administration conducted food safety inspections in Ruzhou from Jan 7 to 8. Fan Xiangli, vice-mayor of the city, accompanied the delegation.

The municipal government gave members of the delegation a report on the city's efforts in the field of food safety and food and drug administration, and they then visited various food markets and catering facilities as well as enterprises engaged in food production, farming and breeding.

The delegation praised Ruzhou's efforts in food safety – and asked the local authorities to continue their work to uphold high standards.
