The city of Ruzhou, Henan province held a Ru porcelain charity sale, on Oct 11, with help from the local ceramic association and a charity organization, with Guo Jie, the deputy mayor, taking part, along with Meng Yusong, chairman of the ceramic association, and Meng Fanxing, general manager of the Ruzhou Minsheng Real Estate Development Co, who addressed the meeting on behalf of Ru porcelain companies and the donors, who included famous local porcelain producers, artists and enterprises.

There were 42 porcelain works from 21 enterprises, institutions or individuals chosen for the charity sale, where some other companies and individuals joined the purchasing to help those in need, with all works snapped up very soon and raising 33,400 yuan ($5,500) to help the needy.
