Hot spring tourism festival held in Xianning

The third International Culture Tourism Festival of Hot Springs in Xianning, in Central China’s Hubei province, was held on Oct 28 to 30, attracting 26 billion yuan ($4b) in investment funds.
The festival was held by the municipal government and attracted many visitors.
Throughout the festival, several activities were held, including a drama show at the opening ceremony, the 2011 Asian Beach Volleyball tour, a famous hot spring tourism enterprise alliance ceremony in China, romantic ethnic wedding trips themed "love in spring", a drama shooting ceremony, the Jin Guihu "low carbon economy" Summit Forum, activities for potential tenders, and a music luncheon.
Ren Zhenhe, the mayor of Xianning city, said the city is in a period of rapid development. “Owing to the projects held at the festival, the reputation of the city has been held high and development will continue to improve.”
