A delegation from Enshi autonomous prefecture in central China’s Hubei province came to Chongqing to promote its tourism products on July 18.
To promote the travel products and routes in Jianshi county in Enshi, the county government provided a series of discounts. A tour group of 73 people from Chongqing visited the scenic spots in the county. A self-driving fleet will arrive soon, according to Huang Xiaoliang, general manager of the Wild Three Gorges scenic spots in Jianshi county.
In the promotion, Jianshi travel products were introduced through materials, videos and pictures. In addition, a folk-custom experience area was established, which was very popular among the participants. Wang Haitao pointed out that the promotion of the Wild Three Gorges scenic spots was well conducted in Chongqing, which showed the good foundation of cooperation between Chongqing and Enshi. He hoped the tourist industry of both sides could be greatly improved.
Compared to the “stove city” Chongqing, the cool and comfortable climate of Enshi in summer is attractive to Chongqing citizens. It will take about five hours to get from Chongqing to Jianshi county through the highway. After the opening of the Chongqing-Lichuan Railway, the time will be shortened to less than three hours. Thus, more tourists from Chongqing are expected to visit Jianshi county.
