The 10th China International Optoelectronic Expo officially kicked off at the Wuhan Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center on Nov 2, and the Hubei National Digital Home Demonstration Industrial Base was also launched the same day.
Digital Home refers to technology that allows people to live a smart home life with digital devices, relating to services which enable users to consult a doctor online, use face recognition that allows only certain people to enter a home, and turn on household appliances without remote controls.
The digital home industrial chain covers technologies, products, solutions, application services, and auxiliary equipment, and visitors can experience the most cutting-edge smart technology on the second floor of the exhibition center, with displays including smart TV, somatosensory games, video communication, security monitors and digital entertainment.
The expo has attracted major domestic appliance manufacturers, such as Lenovo, Haier, TCL, Hisense, Skyworth and Changhong, and some Chinese enterprises are also displaying their new products.
