Updated: 2014-07-29

This park, in the town of Langli, specializes in auto parts and machinery and contains some major companies such as Foton Motor, Sany Heavy Industry, and Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology.

It was established in December 2001 and is run as an enterprise, with local government guidance. It has spent 70.85 million yuan on infrastructure, with 27 km of roads, almost 14,000 meters of piping, and 52,000 meters of power lines rebuilt. Its Bolong waterworks can supply 100,000 tons of water a day, while the Longhua power station has a 550,000-volt capacity, and there is a new telecommunications built by China Telecom’s Changsha branch.

The park held 87 companies by the end of 2008, with 34 large ones and 28 in auto parts, and around 12,000 employees, and 906 million yuan in capital. The local government asked the county, city and provincial governments for help in developing the auto parts, electro-mechanics, and machinery manufacturing business.

The Hunan Changsha Auto Parts Industrial Park is located to the south of the Airport Highway with a planned area of 4 sq km. Work on the first phase of around 300,000 square meters started when Zoomlion Heavy Industries agreed to put nine companies in the park in November 2006. By the end of 2008, it had 520 million yuan of output value and paid 16 million yuan in taxes. The second phase of construction began in early 2009, giving enterprises in the park access to water, power, roads, and communication. Langli is just an 8-minute drive from downtown Changsha, and close to Huanghua International Airport, the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Beijing-Hongkong-Macao Expressway, State Rd 319, the Airport Expressway and Huangxing Ave.
