This project is for the Ganshan automobile accessory site, which has a planned area of 8.24 sq km in the southeastern part of Changsha county. Ganshan was established in 2006 and the site is home to 13 auto accessory companies, including First Automobile Works, Beiqi Foton, Sunward Equipment and Zoomlion Heavy Industry, making automobile accessories a pillar in the community.

The force behind the project is the Shaanxi Auto Group Changsha Huantong Auto Manufacturing Co, also established in 2006, which deals in mid-size to heavy trucks developed by the Shaanxi Auto Group. Its products filled a void in the local auto market and were important in building a 10-billion-yuan auto industry and new industrialization. This project is expected to draw in more auto parts companies and is looking at 10,000 each of auto carriages, frames, automotive trim, generators, axles, and tires. The site has convenient transportation, with the airport expressway, Huangjiang and Qiujiang Rd running across it, and Huanghua International Airport and downtown Changsha only about a 10-minute ride away.

The site’s major customers are the Shaanxi Automobile Group, Changsha Huantong Machinery Industrial Co, and Changsha Fenghan Machinery Industry.
