This project calls for a 20,000-sq-m workshop, for business start-ups, in the Langli industrial base, near the town of Langli in the eastern suburbs of the city of Changsha. It is about an 8-minute drive from the downtown area, giving it convenient transportation to Huanghua International Airport and the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The base covers 20.65 sq km and has 87 companies, 20 of them in automobiles and auto accessories, and three with an output value above 100 million yuan each. Hunan province’s Commerce, and Science and Technology Depts declared the base an auto accessory production and export facility and special base, in December 2006.

Its purpose is to bring in electronic components producers to build a large electronic component facility with its own R&D, production, and sales. The project is expected to cost 100 million yuan, with a pay-back period of three to five years. Land use, construction, and design work are ongoing and he project will get favorable policies for new industrialization and industrial development.
