County to subsidize modern service industry
Updated: 2016-06-17
Changsha county will allocate 50 million yuan ($7.6 million) annually to encourage and guide the development of the modern service sector during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) period.
The support will focus on the 10 major industries of electronic commerce, modern logistics, the automotive aftermarket, headquarters economy, air service, modern finance, service outsourcing, health and pensions, cultural tours, and new services. The policy was published in Policies and Measurements on Supporting the Development of the Modern Service Industry, according to the county's business bureau.
"Internet plus", the integration of the Internet with traditional industries, is the key area to be supported. Projects working on the integration of the Internet with business service and modern agriculture will be rewarded and subsidized, while platforms serving the automotive aftermarket will be given a maximum subsidy of 1.5 million yuan ($228,000). The policy also encourages enterprises to bring in highly trained personnel by providing a resettlement payment of 100,000 yuan for each such person and covering 30 percent of the enterprise's headhunting fees.
