The 2nd International Electric Aviation Forum opened in the Airport Economic Demonstration Zone in Changsha county on Nov 3 to explore the development trends, opportunities, problems and solutions of electric aviation at home and abroad.

The forum, aiming to promote the development of new energy aircraft and aviation technology innovation in China, has attracted civil aviation industry authorities, aerospace enterprises, well-known universities and research institutions, members of the world's top 500 enterprises, famous international association organizations, and nearly 300 enterprise representatives, experts, and scholars.

As the most professional forum on electric aviation projects in China, it has set up a communication platform among local governments, industrial parks and investment agencies, creating a good environment for investment and financing in the field of electric aviation, and promoting more project cooperation.

Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone will also take advantage of this world-class platform to seek cooperation with domestic and foreign aviation enterprises. Wang Guoliang, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, said that they will look for high-quality projects to settle in the demonstration zone and seize the first opportunity for the development of the electric aviation industry.

Currently, Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone has introduced more than 30 key projects, including the aviation services industry, represented by Xiamen Airlines and Okay Airways; the aviation logistics industry, represented by Postal Logistics, SF Express and YTO Express; and the high-end service industry represented by Unicom Digital Reading Base and OUTLETS Shopping Plaza.
