The Belt and Road Fund of Hunan province has been set up with a total available funds of 20 billion yuan ($2.87 billion) to provide assistance for local enterprises aiming to go global.

The fund was jointly established by Hunan Construction Engineering Group, Hunan Communication & Water Conservancy Group, Hunan Xintiandi Group and others. As one of the three big funds of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hunan Provincial People's Government, it is about to become a domestic and foreign investment and financing platform providing financial intermediation, information exchange, and industrial interconnection.

The fund will be used for supporting Hunan's state-owned enterprises to go abroad and help promote international development. The platform will offer a flexible fund trading structure to realize the effective integration of funds and resources.
