The world's first magnetic levitation track panel assembly line has started mass production in the second industrial park of China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co Ltd (CRCC) in Changsha, Hunan province.

It is completely designed and developed in China, and the industrial park is now producing the order of Guangdong Qingyuan's magnetic levitation tourism special line.

The assembly line is about 500 meters long and 18 meters wide. It integrates operation procedures, shows digital manufacturing information, and has a smart controlling system. It lowers labor intensity by 70 percent and can make products with a qualified rate of 99 percent.

Magnetic levitation track panels are built for maglev trains to run smoothly and steadily. The traditional way of making an F-shape piece of steel takes nine hours and is of low accuracy. However, the smart assembly line can finish construction in 40 minutes with a lower margin of error.

The yearly production capacity is 80 kilometers.
