Di Ruiming, executive mayor of Hohhot, gave attendees a warm welcome. Hohhot, he said, is not only the capital of Inner Mongolia, but also its center in terms of economy, politics, culture and finance. The city offers grant development opportunities and has a bright outlook on its future. It is currently giving priority to service industries such as cloud computing, e-commerce, modern logistics and commercial exhibitions. This, said Di, will improve the city’s competiveness and drive it toward becoming a central city of its region.

Hohhot was designated as an International E-Commerce Demonstration City for 2014, which provides the municipality a great opportunity to foster the e-commerce industry and drive the further integration of e-commerce and modern logistics.
