Eight enterprises from Inner Mongolia made the lists, namely Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co with a brand value of 571 million yuan ($91.74 million), Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Rare-Earth (Group) Hi-Tech Co with a brand value 5.92 billion yuan, Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co with a value of 948 million yuan, Baotou Beifang Chuangye Co with a value of 640 million yuan, Inner Mongolia Wuhai Chemical Industry Co with a value of 410 million yuan, Inner Mongolia Junzheng Energy & Chemical Industry Co with a value of 362 million yuan, Inner Mongolia Hotision & Monsod Drought Resistance Greening Co with a value 773 million yuan and Baoshang Bank Co with a brand value 625 million yuan.

This year witnessed the third session of the brand evaluation, which has expanded the evaluation scope from only the manufacturing industry in the last year into three industries, covering primary, secondary and tertiary industries. It also released a brands list among five categories, including the manufacturing industry, services industry, agricultural products, geographical indication regional brands and independent innovation brands.

A total of 50-odd experts from a variety of fields were invited by the China Brand Construction Association for the evaluation of nearly 500 enterprises or product brands based on 20 national evaluation standards.
