A national cultural industry demonstration base that highlighted with diversified cultures opened in Hohhot’s Yuquan district on August 6 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The 43-hectare Dazhao Cultural Industry Cluster has three functional sections, including a religious culture sightseeing area, a commercial area in Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1368-1911) dynasties’ style and Dashengkui Cultural Creativity Industrial Park.

Based on the cultural resources of Yuquan district, the cluster will be a large operation platform for the region’s cultural industries.

The core of the cluster is Dazhao Temple, a Buddhist monastery built in 1579, and three 3A-level scenic spots, a historical and cultural site under state protection, five sites under autonomous regional protection and one under municipal protection, as well as five traditional commercial streets.

The district vows to develop the cluster into a leading tourism destination with international popularity.
