Inner Mongolia autonomous region has approved 32 foreign-funded enterprises in the first seven months of the year, 33.3 percent more than past years.
Investments for the 32 newly approved foreign-funded enterprises - including 17 Chinese-foreign equity joint ventures, 2 Chinese-foreign contractual joint ventures and 13 wholly foreign-owned enterprises - mainly came from South Korea, Russia and Mongolia, and the utilized foreign investment amounted to $1,205.96 million, up 37.8 percent year-to-year.
Most of thes enterprises were established in Ordos, Hohhot, Baotou, Bayannur, Hulunburi and the Hinggan League, covering sectors like mining, manufacturing, agriculture and animal husbandry.
