Over three years, the Ten Full Coverage project plans to improve public services and infrastructure in ten areas, from drinking water sources to roads, broadcasting services and social security.

The village has improved 12.5 kilometers of roads since it started the project, said by Wang Bing, Party secretary of the Yangqishan village. He added that as achievements of the project, the village has also set 155 new streetlights, planted 4,500 fruit trees, and built an 8.5-kilometer green corridor. It has upgraded the village's power grid with better supply and made television and broadband networks accessible in every household.

Moreover, the village has built a standardized clinic of 60 square meters, a 450-square-meter culture room, a 40-square-meter convenience store and a 317-square-meter kindergarten.

“The improvement of infrastructure is not enough, villagers’ income must be improved too,” said a local official. The income per capita was 13,500 yuan ($2,121) last year.

Currently, the village is working to make tourism a pillar industry and diversify the villagers' income channels, by developing ice entertainment, agritainment and local restaurants.
