Inner Mongolia company to attend COP21

The upcoming Paris climate change Conference of Parties (COP21) from Nov 30 to Dec 11 in France will have delegates from 185 countries and regions, and more than 100 heads of states, including President Xi Jinping and US President Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, the COP21 will also convene participants of business to display their edge-cutting technological achievements. An Inner Mongolia-based company, Hesheng (Inner Mongolia) Ecological Silviculture Co will participate as an representative in ecological environment protection filed.

Hesheng works in ecological remediation, and strives to be a leader in barren mountains remediation. It has successfully restored 40,000 mu (2,667 hectares) of degraded areas and is now a demonstration for replanting of barren mountains and grasslands in the arid and semi-arid regions.

The company’s ecological remediation project has registered according to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and received the authorization of Climate, Community and Biodiversity Standards.
