Inner Mongolia autonomous region has a new platform for theoretical and practical researches of brand building and trademark right, as the region’s industry and commerce administration reached a strategic cooperation with Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics.
The agreement on brands innovation and trademark rights protection was signed at the third session of Inner Mongolia Trademark Association on Nov 28.
The two parties will set up a brands and trademarks research institute to improve companies’ brands awareness and to build a system for brands construction and innovation in Inner Mongolia, according to the agreement.
The agreement is expected to drive innovation in products and commercial models through brands innovation. According to the session, Inner Mongolia registered 15,000 trademarks during the 12th Five Plan (2011-2015).
