The city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia has welcomed 2,800 migrant workers to its trade union amid efforts to protect their legal rights, on May 10. Two hundred workers' representatives attended the ceremony and received their union cards. In recent years, trade unions at all levels in Inner Mongolia have carried out activities like employment assistance and pursuit of migrant workers' wage arrears, winning extensive favorable comments from migrant workers.
