Since 2012, the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been co-hosted four times by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the National Association of Industry and Commerce.

It’s the first time this event has been hosted in Inner Mongolia. Starting on May 24, the contest attracted 49 enterprises and 44 youth groups mainly engaged in high-tech research and manufacturing. Six enterprises and six youth teams made it to the finals after a series of preliminaries.

Eventually, the Super-Brand Building Materials Co and the Pony-Incubator Team won the champions. Bai Xiangqun, the vice-chairman of Inner Mongolian government, attended the finals.

The frontrunners in the competition not only receive support from local government but free training and financial assistance, if they establish a business in the region.
