Ordos International Nadam Fair and culture conference start major events

The major events of the third Ordos International Nadam Fair and the first International Creativity & Culture Conference began on Aug 22 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

The launch ceremony held on Aug 22 was followed by a series of sports matches, including horse racing, beach football, Mongolian chess and Mongolian wrestling (boke). A variety of creative and cultural activities such as a creative design works exhibition will be held until Aug 27, when a closing ceremony is scheduled.

The spectacular launch ceremony was highlighted with traditional ethnic cultural elements, such as Hoomii and Mongolian dancing, and boke. Most of the actors were from Ordos, the host city.
