Ordos beats Beijing in 14th round of CTTSL

The Ordos 1980 Club beat Beijing Shougang Club 3-1, during the 14th round of the first stage of the Women’s Team Championship of the 2016 China Table Tennis Super League (CTTSL), at the sports gym of the Saihan campus of Inner Mongolia Normal University on Dec 4.

Feng Tianwei from Ordos 1980 Club beat Li Jiayuan from Beijing Shougang Club 3-0 during the singles match; Li Jiayan from Ordos 1980 Club lost a match against Ding Ning from Beijing Shougang Club; Li Jiayan and Zhu Zhaohui from Ordos won 2-1 against Li Jiayuan and Sun Chen from Beijing in the women’s doubles match.

Feng Tianwei, a gold medalist in the 2010 World Team Table Tennis Championships, won a tough match, defeating the grand slam winner Ding Ning, a gold medalist in the women’s singles and women’s team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and the straight champion of the women’s singles of the 2011 Rotterdam and the 2015 Suzhou World Table Tennis Championships.
